My organisation

HELLA is a listed, internationally positioned automotive supplier operating under the umbrella brand FORVIA. Within this de facto group, HELLA stands for high-performance lighting technology and automotive electronics. At the same time, the Company covers a broad service and product portfolio for the spare parts and workshop business as well as for manufacturers of special-purpose vehicles with its Lifecycle Solutions business group. HELLA has around 36,000 employees at more than 125 locations worldwide and generated consolidated sales of € 4.4 billion in the seven-month short fiscal year 2022. HELLA Lithuania plant is built up from the scratch. The greenfield advantage is to implement Lessons Learned and Best Practices from HELLA locations all over the world – for instance the new standard business division Electronics plant layout. The groundbreaking for the production plant of HELLA Lithuania took place in October 2017 in direct neighborhood of Kaunas Airport. Roughly ten months after groundbreaking in August 2018, first series production for Build-to-Print products for the business division Lighting has been commenced.

About me

A leader with two decades of expertise in managing the complexity in mid- to big-size EMS and Automotive companies in Eastern Europe. Passionate about supporting Lithuania to grow country GDP and strengthening attractiveness to foreign investment opportunities. Board Member of the Baltic Automotive Components Cluster.

My organisation

HELLA Lithuania plant was built as a greenfield with an advantage to implement Lessons Learned and Best Practices from HELLA locations all over the world with the vision to have a Benchmark Manufacturing plant for Electronics business division.

The groundbreaking ceremony took place in October 2017 in direct neighborhood of Kaunas Airport. Roughly ten months after groundbreaking, in August 2018, first series production has been commenced.

As of April 2024, HELLA Lithuania employs 400 professionals with an average age of 33,2 years ensuring the manufacturing at world class quality (below 2 PPM) for PCBA, various car control modules and autonomous driving radar sensors.
